Aralan is a broadcast media component of an Internet user-group initiative in 1999
committed to promoting sustainable agriculture, community-based livelihood projects,
alternative medicine, environmental protection and consciousness, in the Philippines.
The Usenet has evolved from the realms of the virtual internet to an active linkage
of Filipinos in the Sariling Talino At Gawa Movement or STAG, with
volunteers conducting free technology transfers to persons, communities, institutions
and agencies in various parts of the country.
These technologies and information are relayed with the deepest conviction and belief in
its fundamental importance in the development of a productive and healthy society within a
vibrant ecosystem.
A monthly network newsletter for the province of Bulacan, nineteen
provinces and five oversea Filipino chapters, fortifies this drive.
